No matter how frightened and discouraged I may become about the future, I look forward to it. In spite of everything I see all around me every day, I have a shaky assurance that everything will turn out fine; and I don’t think I’m the only one. Why else would the phrase "Everything is alright" ease a troubled place in so many of us? We just don’t know, we never know, yet we have so much faith. We hold our hands over our hurts and lean forward. It is how we keep on, this kind of hope.

If you put the blocks in their most benefiting positions or make the right decisions, you'll likely win and decrease the amount of blocks or problems that you still have to solve. But if you keep on stacking the blocks wrongly, make wrong decisions, then you'll end up with a game over

To have a great theme in life involves taking a risk of moving beyond the narrow limitations of myself and discovering our true self.
I believe that we all write our own stories, and each time we think we've figured out the ending, it turns out that we haven't. Maybe luck just exists somewhere between the world of planning, the world of chance, and the peace that comes from knowing that you just can't know everything. Life's funny that way. Once you let go of the wheel, you just might end up right where you belong.

I saw the sky and sea and sand and the flickering flames of the bonfire through my tears. All at once, it rushed into my head with tremendous speed, and made me feel dizzy. It was beautiful. Everything that happened was shockingly beautiful, enough to make you crazy.
There comes a time when the world gets quiet and the only thing left is your own heart, so you'd better learn the sound of it. Otherwise, you'll never understand what it's saying.
It's a weird feeling when you cross another day off the calendar
and you notice that more than a year and a half has gone by.
People have moved on, but you haven't. Instead, you let the

There are ways in, journeys to the center of life, through time, through air, matter, dream and thought. The ways are not always mapped or charted, but sometimes being lost, if there is such a thing, is the sweetest place to be. And always, in this search, a person might find that she is already there, at the center of the world. It may be a broken world, but it is glorious nonetheless.

When something bad happens you have three choices. You can either let it define you, let it destroy you, or you can let it strengthen you.
I know it's human nature for people to feel bad, and have regrets and to be hurt. But sometimes I wish that sad people could see things from every perspective because somewhere in the mess it's still beautiful.

Not the exact image, but everything reversed or upside down.
When we die, these are the stories still on our lips. The stories we’ll only tell strangers, someplace private in the padded cell of midnight. These important stories, we rehearse them for years in our head but never tell. These stories are ghosts, bringing people back from the dead. Just for a moment. For a visit. Every story is a ghost.
Suffering becomes beautiful when anyone bears great calamities with cheerfulness, not through insensibility but through greatness of mind.
If everything is smooth sailing right from the beginning, we cannot become people of substance and character. By surmounting paining setbacks and obstacles, we can create a brilliant history of triumph that will shine forever. That is what makes life so exciting and enjoyable. In any field of endeavour, those who overcome hardships and grow as human beings are advancing towards success and victory in life.
Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinion drown your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
The light of starry dreams can only be seen once we escape the blinding cities of disbelief.
Thoughts are the shadows of our feelings - always darker, emptier and simpler.
Forgiving is love's toughest work, and love's biggest risk. If you twist it into something it was never meant to be, it can make you a doormat or an insufferable manipulator. Forgiving seems almost unnatural. Our sense of fairness tells us people should pay for the wrong they do. But forgiving is love's power to break nature's rule.
We attach our feelings to the moment when we were hurt, endowing it with immortality. And we let it assault us every time it comes to mind. It travels with us, sleeps with us, hovers over us while we make love, and broods over us while we die. Our hate does not even have the decency to die when those we hate die--for it is a parasite sucking OUR blood, not theirs. There is only one remedy for it. Forgiveness.
When we forgive evil we do not excuse it, we do not tolerate it, we do not smother it. We look the evil full in the face, call it what it is, let its horror shock and stun and enrage us, and only then do we forgive it.
Confront the dark parts of yourself, and work to banish them with illumination and forgiveness. Your willingness to wrestle with your demons will cause your angels to sing. Use the pain as fuel, as a reminder of your strength.
